Charlotte, North Carolina native, Jacotron Potts is the Minister of Youth serving over 1,000 young people at The Park Church. His passion is "to see youth reach their Kingdom Potential through the power of Jesus Christ." He has dedicated his life to serving and empowering people to be the change that their workplace, school, community and world needs.

Potts has served on and for many political and civic organizations including but not limited to 100 Black Men (Charlotte), The City of Charlotte Martin Luther King Celebration, The Teen Role Model Classic and various opportunities at Johnson C. Smith University. He serves as a guest speaker at events and his words inspire and move youth to action. Potts has received countless awards for his service including the "Youth Adult of the Year Award" by the National Black Political Caucus. The Charlotte Observer has highlighted his work with youth and families and he is the former host of Black Media Live, a local cable access program.

Potts has been a member of The Park Church for twelve years and on staff for half that time. When asked what sets The Park Church apart, he says, "We are a church that is Christ Centered." He loves technology and enjoys reading. Potts current reading includes the book of Matthews in the Bible. He is married to Latoria V. Potts and is the proud father of one daughter Cameron.
