Your Story

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 22:37-40

The Park Church provides numerous services that can help you throughout your life's journey. The Park Church also believes that we reach others when we are willing to tell our stories of how the Holy Spirit has worked in our lives. The stories shared here illustrate how God continues to work in the lives of those who earnestly seek Him and gather in His name.

When we gather in the name of Jesus, it is a reflection of what Jesus asks of his disciples. The example of fellowship is clearly demonstrated at the Lord’s Supper where Jesus and his disciples gather together to share a meal before He was betrayed. Before His ascension into Heaven, he pairs the disciples together to go out and share the Gospel with the world. There are numerous examples of the ways that Jesus has people gather in His name. We are called to do the same; to not keep the Good News to ourselves but to share it with others so that they may have life everlasting.

How do we do this? Sharing our story with others. Rather it’s a conversation at work or a willingness to help in a community project - our words and actions can have an impact. It is the act of “neighboring” or gathering together in worship and community outreach events that provide all of us the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and to extend the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbor.
