DEACON SAMUEL AND DEACONESS BOBBIE THOMPSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 

CRITERIA

The Deacon Samuel and Deaconess Bobbie Thompson Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student who is strong in their faith and has a true relationship with God.  They should have been involved in church ministry as well as one who has served as a doorkeeper (usher) within the church.  Student should have been involved in the community. 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  1. The Deacon Samuel and Deaconess Bobbie Thompson Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors only.
  2.  The Deacon Samuel and Deaconess Bobbie Thompson Memorial Scholarship will be awarded for direct school costs only (tuition, room, board and books).

GPA REQUIREMENT

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
