Serve

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

The Park Church seeks to bring people to Christ through evangelism; gather people together in Christ through worship; grow people in Christ through spiritual development, and send people out for Christ through local and global mission work.

MT25:40

Join the MT25:40 Ministry as we establish a witness from God by serving our unhoused and displaced neighbors locally and nationally. MT25:40 is a mobile unit ministry that brings showers, laundry services and other essential care services to the street, where our residentially challenged and displaced neighbors are located.

Community Food Share

The Park Church and its partners are committed to seeing equitable, fresh, and accessible groceries for all people to help them live healthier lives. Our community food share pop ups provide free food to families in need.

Senior Produce

The Park Church and its partners care deeply about helping our senior community live healthier lives. Our Senior Produce Market is for people ages 60 and older to have access to free and fresh, locally grown produce in the Charlotte communities.
We are grateful for every opportunity to let our light shine, share God’s
redemptive love, and serve with each other as we take our place alongside
Christ, who was the ultimate servant of all.

Volunteer FAQ

Why should I volunteer?

We volunteer as an act of service and obedience to God, following Jesus’ example of servanthood rather than being served. Volunteering with us in any capacity provides opportunities of you to use spiritual gifts to support those in need, helps strengthen your faith, fosters community, and ultimately reflecting Christ’s love.

What should I wear to volunteer?

We always want people to serve wearing our Park Church (Purple P) branded T-shirts, hoodies or sweatshirts, but if you don't have a purple P or a purple shirt then we simply encourage comfortable clothing based on the weather.

Do I have to be a member to volunteer?

No. You do not have to be a member to volunteer at one of our outreach events. Our focus is helping our community and those in need and we encourage all to participate.

What should I expect while volunteering?

Expect a warm and welcoming environment and a powerful experience as we serve and help our community through service, mentorship, and prayer. Remain prayerful as you serve and be attentive to the ways the Holy Spirit is moving, drawing, speaking, and growing each of our servant’s hearts. In the power of the Holy Spirit, boldly share your faith in Jesus as the Lord commanded us to do in Matthew 28:19-20.
