Memorial Scholarship

CRITERIA

The Vanessa Yvette Hawkins Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has a relationship with Jesus Christ, is academically resilient, and has a history of community engagement and service to the church.  Special consideration given to students that demonstrate an interest/participation in social justice matters and female empowerment.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

  1. The Vanessa Yvette Hawkins Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors only.
  2. The Vanessa Yvette Hawkins Memorial Scholarship will be awarded for direct school costs only (tuition, room, board and books).

GPA REQUIREMENT

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0.
