Why should I worry when Your Word reminds me of Your provision.

Prayer

Lord, sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the cares of life. I know who You are, what You have done, and what You are capable of, but when certain things happen a flood of emotions can arise. Despite my spiritual maturity, multiple crises at once can take a toll, leading to feelings of uncertainty, fear and insecurity that can shake my faith in Your Word. However, why should I worry when Your Word reminds me of Your provision for the raven, the most unclean bird. You still ensure it has what it needs, along with the nourishment to fulfill other divine purposes (1 Kings 17:1-7).

I will put my trust in You, Lord, knowing that I am much more valuable than the raven. How much more will You provide for me. You give me exactly what I need so I can focus on obeying Your calling on my life. I will bear witness to Jesus, disciple those following Christ and declare Your return. You've got everything else covered, therefore, I WILL trust You!
