Lord, I praise you for your perfect plan to shape me into the image of Christ. Forgive me for the times I’ve chased after worldly goals instead of focusing on becoming more like Jesus.

Thank you for faithfully working out your purpose in my life through the power of the Holy Spirit. As I step into this new year, help me keep my eyes on Jesus, and join you in the work you're doing in the world.
