SCRIPTURE READING OF THE DAY:

PSALM 37:3-4

Prayer

Dear God, I thank you that you are a trustworthy God. You have instructed us to trust you, to do good, to dwell, to enjoy safe pasture, and to take delight in you. In return, you grant us what to desire in our hearts.

Holy Spirit, when we grow weary, when we grow tired, when we grow anxious, may you draw us back to the place of trusting, doing good, dwelling, and delighting in you. May you give us discernment to know the desires you have granted and the ones we have created. In the meantime, may we wait patiently for the fruit the comes from trusting in You!
