New Members
Are you ready to join The Park Church Kingdom Citizens? We’re eager to welcome you. Let’s get started.
Getting Started
Complete New Member Form
Attend New Members’ Orientation
Keep an eye out on the Events calendar and TPC eNews for upcoming Kingdom Citizens Institute Orientation (KCIO) orientations. This orientation is a two-day workshop that is typically held on the first Friday and Saturday of each month.
During Orientation, you will learn more about the history of The Park Church, our beliefs, ministries and life groups and more. Through a spiritual gifts assessment, your Orientation leader will help you to identify ways to get involved.
Attend KCIO Graduation
Every first Sunday, immediately following the 9:45 a.m. worship service, we hold Communion, Baby Dedication and KCIO Graduation, where we formally welcome members who have successfully completed KCIO.
What’s Next?
It’s all too easy to settle into an average church experience, but we serve an extraordinary God who wants to show Himself faithful in your life. Here are just a few ways that we help you continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ:
Attend the KCIO Experiencing God Workshop. In this workshop, your Orientation leader will guide your cohort on an enriching study of Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God by William Blackaby.
Connect with your Ministry and/or Life Group. During your KCIO Workshop, you will have identified your spiritual gifts and the ministries and life groups we offer that are recommended for each. Ask your Orientation leader for information on how to connect with a Ministry or Life Group of your choice, or use the contact information on Ministry and Life Group pages.
Attend an Event. The Park hosts a wide range of engaging community events throughout the year. Events include: informational events (P.R.E.P.A.R.E. Workshop, WINDS Wealth Building), music concerts (Lecrae), celebrity speaking engagements and initiatives (Common Let Love Book Discussion, Oprah 2020 Vision & Weight Watchers Challenge), sports viewings, and signature Park events (5k Run/Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness, A Night Under the Stars, and more). Check out the Events calendar and mark yours with events that interest you.
Volunteer in the Community. We meet God’s call to serve Him and honor one another through signature volunteer and outreach programs (e.g. Soles for Souls, Summer Feeding and Reading Program, Love Fest and more). For students, this is a great way to build service hours. All volunteers are encouraged to attend our annual fall Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, where ministry leaders show their gratitude for your service. Check out the Serve page for opportunities. For more on volunteering and outreach, please contact Min. Kim Morrison.
