Mission:

The Singles of The Park strives to empower single individuals in the community to respond to God’s call by fostering a supportive environment that promotes spiritual growth, personal revival, and collective transformation.

Vision:

We envision a vibrant singles ministry that thrives on the principles of faith, hope and love. As we embrace “The Year of Revival”, our goal is to inspire and equip singles to lead lives or purpose and passion, with dedication and courage.

Our ministry is a place where everyone feels valued and included, regardless of background or life stages. We offer a range of Bible studies, prayer groups, and other experiences tailored to the needs of singles. Our ministry emulates the life of Jesus as we engage in service projects and outreach opportunities, making a tangible difference in our community. Our social events and gatherings aim to foster deeper, meaningful connections. We are not just a segment of the church, but a dynamic, integral part of the church’s life. Come grow with us as we journey together in faith and fellowship.

The Singles Ministry of The Park is designed to address various life situation to capture the full gamut of the singles community. This includes divorcees, widowhood, single parents, those who have never been married. The Singles of The Park is a ministry that will minister to a diverse group of singles that represent different ages and backgrounds within the singles community.

We welcome individuals from all locations to join us through various virtual opportunities, ensuring that everyone can participate and thrive, no matter where they are, in the world.

The Singles of The Park is focused on spiritual growth and development of every individual. We are working to create small affinity groups within the ministry. We will engage in various Bible studies that cater to the diverse interests and needs of singles. We will engage in specific times of prayer set aside to help build a community of faith believers.

Job Transitions Ministry

The Job Transitions Ministry is an ongoing ministry aimed at equipping and empowering participants in the event of job loss or career restructuring. The purpose of the Job Transitions Ministry is to develop a source that can be utilized by members and nonmembers alike when either searching or enhancing their career. By enhancing their career this enables individuals to be productive Christians to fulfill the Kingdom work and purposes. It is the responsibility of the Church to address the needs of the people. Creating such a source will address the holistic needs of the parishioners.

Divorce Care Ministry support group offers practical guidelines, along with support and encouragement, for anyone struggling through the tragedy of a broken marriage. The discussions address the emotional wounds experienced during divorce and focus on complete healing through Jesus Christ.

Cancer Care Ministry

Cancer Care Ministry provides support an education for people who have been impacted by the illness. The ministry consists of three components: 

  1. Persons in the ministry will visit individuals who are currently battling the illness.
  2. The support group will meet monthly.
  3. There will be quarterly educational workshops that deal with different types of cancer.

    Members of the ministry may participate in any and/or all the three aspects of the ministry.

    Bereavement Aftercare Ministry

    The Bereavement Aftercare Ministry consists of people called to serve as sources of caring and encouragement to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. These individuals extend a ministry of presence by providing a listening ear and demonstrating the love of Christ and the church through visits, cards, prayers, calls, etc. In these ways, they acknowledge caring and concern to grieving members.

    Experience and Production

    This ministry helps to ensure that the experience within our worship services both in-person and online is one that is brings honor to God, is timely, seamless and translates to all generations and audiences that view us. We have been charged by our Pastor to “create a positively unforgettable experience with God for all those that choose to worship with The Park Church.” To accomplish this, members of this ministry work in concert with the Worship and Arts Ministry, First Impressions Ministry, Watchmen Ministry, first responders, home mission responders, the Youth Ministry, and the ministers of the pulpit to create a seamless and worshipful experience in our worship services.

    BraveWorks

    BraveWorks engages in outreach for refugees and those coming out of trafficking. The challenges of newly arrivals of refugees in the Charlotte area are met with immediate culturalization challenges and hurdles. This outreach helps women and families assimilate into our city and culture in a dignified way by learning to serve, support and offer friendship. If you have a cross-cultural heart and desire to serve those who may have a language barrier or need for common help around shopping, currency understanding or public transportation avenues to connect with local resources then this session may be for you.

    Elizabeth and Mary Building Lives Through Encouragement & Mentoring (E.M.B.L.E.M) is a six-month commitment to a mentor / mentee relationship designed to foster Christian growth and development through prayer, bible study, and fellowship.

    The goal of E.M.B.L.E.M is to provide a ministry of mentoring by pairing women together based on their understanding of where they are in their lives as effective witnesses (Mary / Elizabeth).

    KCIO is a two-day workshop that is typically held on the first Friday and Saturday of each month.

    During Orientation, you will learn more about the history of The Park Church, our beliefs, ministries and life groups and more. Through a spiritual gifts assessment, your Orientation leader will help you to identify ways to get involved.

    Experiencing God Workshop

    As part of KCIO, your Orientation leader will guide your cohort on an enriching study of Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God by William Blackaby.

    Becoming A Man (B.A.M.)

    The mission of B.A.M. is to connect, caring, consistent, Godly men with middle and high school students in a Christian environment.

    B.A.M. is designed to meet the emotional, behavioral and spiritual needs of male youth in middle and high school. Our effort is to begin to cultivate emotional balance, behavioral modification, and spiritual guidance in a comfortable and safe environment for male youth.

    As part of the Men’s Ministry, B.A.M. looks to engage our young men from ages 12-18, as we seek to mentor and help them to reach their full potential through faith in Jesus Christ. We have caring, competent adults who serve as consistent figures in the lives of young men.

    BAM gathers every 2nd and 4th Mondays, from 6:00-8:30 p.m., beginning January 22nd. Search “BAM” on the general Events calendar or the calendar on the Men’s Ministry page to view upcoming sessions.

    This annual experience exposes teens to today’s leading technology and a healthy lifestyle. Designed for youth 13-18, teens will discover and explore several disciplines including but not limited to: coding, filming, music production, script writing, web design, and more. Hands-on training by industry leaders and top fitness experts and coaches teach our young people how to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle and give them tips for success as they mature towards adulthood.

    Married Couples in Christ Ministry

    Serving married couples who seek to understand their relationship with God, self and, most of all, each other.

    The Married Couples in Christ Ministry intentionally seeks to make itself available to every married couple in The Park Church with the intent of encouraging them to live and experience marriage as understood through the eyes of God.

    We recognize that marriage is God’s idea; therefore, we lean heavily upon the Word of God as our source of strength, power, and inspiration. This ministry seeks to help married couples not only to live and survive as husband and wife, but to live and thrive on the tried and proven principles of Christian marriage.

    This ministry also offers attendees: Sunday School classes, Marriage Retreats, Seminars, Bootcamps and outside fellowship.
