Summer of Hope: Neighbors Transitioning through Homelessness

Join us as we establish a witness for God. We are excited to share that we will serve our neighbors transitioning through homelessness on Saturday, July 29th, 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in uptown Charlotte.

We will gather and setup at 616 North Tryon Street, where we will serve our neighbors a hearty meal, provide hygiene products, and other essential items, and pray for our neighbors.

Volunteers are needed to serve. Please wear your Park (purple P) t-shirt and dress appropriately for outdoor weather (this outreach experience is rain or shine). We look forward to the life-changing and transformative impact individually and collectively during our Summer of Hope!

For additional information on how you can get engaged, please contact Damita Privott at [email protected], or Min. Kim Morrison at [email protected].

Summer of Hope: Pop Up in the Park

Summer Kickback: Pop up for some fun, fellowship, and lively discussion around hot topics.

Because this is our Summer of Hope, this would be a wonderful opportunity to show the redemptive love of Christ to those in the communities where we fellowship.

We are ready to have a great time, so get your lawn chairs and blankets ready for July 22, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Vacation Bible School: Twists and Turns

Vacation Bible School will take place June 26 – 29, and the theme is “Twists and Turns.”

VBS is a fun way to incorporate games while helping our youth to understand that Jesus guides them through all the twists and turns of life.

Adult classes will focus on Bishop Alexander’s book, Becoming the Church.

Volunteers are needed to serve for both youth and adults. To volunteer send an email to [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s VBS!
